Jeff Thorp is an avid fly fisherman (http://jeffreythorp.wordpress.com/), golfer, runner, and hiker.  Jeffrey Thorp enjoys food and wine –http://jeffthorpwine.wordpress.com/ , reading http://jeffreythorp.tumblr.com/, movies http://jeffthorp.typepad.com/my-blog/ and spending time with his family. 

Since mid 2006, Jeff Thorp has run the private investment firm Sonoma Capital Management, LLC.  This private investment firm, run by Jeffrey Thorp, invests primarily in United States domiciled issuers of publicly traded stocks and bonds.  Jeff attempts to identify underpriced securities or companies focusing on traditional valuation metrics. 

Before Sonoma Capital Management, Mr. Thorp was employed at a variety of smaller brokerage firms which transacted in the stressed public and private securities of corporate issuers worldwide.  Some of these firms are:
